MAIN ATTRACTIONS:

1. PARLIAMENT: The biggest building in Hungary in its kind was erected between 1884-1904 of the plans of Imre Steindl. The 268 m long building has 691 rooms, the Dome is 96 m high. The Hungarian coronation symbols like St. Stephen's crown, the sceptre, the mound and the renaissance sword are in Parliament.

2. SAINT STEPHAN's BASILICA: was built between 1851-1905 in neo renessaince style. The church is the biggest one in Budapest, exactly as high as the Parlament. Restoration was finished in 2003. 

3. MUSEUM OF ETHNOGRAPHY: it was founded in 1872, standing opposite the Parliament on the Lajos Kossuth square. The first collection was the east Asian collection of Janos Xantus.There is permanent exhibition about Hungarian traditional simple life and culture...

4 Vaci street, Vörösmarty square:it is full of shops, main shopping area of Budapest. Many bars and restaurants here. Street musicians and pantomimes entertain the tourists all year.
